10th Anniversary Box Details & KH3D OST

Hey everyone, we have some details regarding the "10th Anniversary Box" that appeared along with the other two KH3D special editions. It is now labelled as "KINGDOM HEARTS 10th ANNIVERSARY 3D + Days + Re:Coded BOX" and it contains:

Kingdom Hearts 3D, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days & Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded (that's right! All 3 in one pack! The latter two for Nintendo DS)
12 Postcards (A "visual representation of the history" of the KH series)
Original Design Protective Case for the Nintendo 3DS
Special Box with 10th Anniversary designs

It has been priced at 15000 YEN, you can pre-order it at the Square Enix eStore but there are some limitations. The orders are one per member and you can only pre-order it according your rank at the Japanese Swuare Enix Members site. Finally, the Kingdom Hearts 3D edition 3DS is also priced at 21090 YEN.

One more thing, thanks to Famitsu we have details about the KH3D Original Soundtrack. The official site opened and it is officially coming out April 18th 2012 for 3800 YEN. This is the cover:

KH3D Special Editions Announced + Famitsu Interview

Hey everyone, so I've got some exciting news for you! Let's start with release date, it is settled for March 29th 2012 in Japan. Also KH3D was featured in Famitsu's January issue meaning that we have some great scans and new info!

Let's start with the interview:

"—So will KH3D will be equipped with a system that utilizes wireless transmissions?

Nomura: There is a mini game where you can compete against other player’s Dream Eaters via ad-hoc wireless to upgrade your Dream Eaters. These competitions occur differently than normal battles. It’s a system that we’ve wanted to try before.

—The expectations are rising for fans who want to know the release date and whether or not there will be a special edition release.

Nomura: Please wait just a little while longer for a formal announcement.

—Will the ending of this title also be a heart wrenching one?

Nomura: The ending for KH3D is a little unusual, the plan up until now had been different… But every once in a while I think, it’s good this way. In fact, the first ending I thought up quickly became no good due to various circumstances, but now the ending is something that I worry quite a bit about. As a result, we tried to do something unique for the ending this time. Incidentally, the secret movie will be shorter. Though it is short, like the Re:Coded secret movie, it will connect to the next shocking developments in the series, so please look forward to it."

In the opening movie, the top screen will feature a CG movie, while the bottom screen depicts traditional 2D animation of Mickey's silhouette moving around! This was inspired by his actions in Sorcerer's Apprentice. As such, what he does at the bottom screen will influence what happens at the top.

Now I've got something special for you, Square Enix announced 3 new special editions of the game.

Limited Edition (Includes an AR card that allows you to obtain a rare, hard to get Dream Eater)
Limited Bundle (Includes the AR card from LE, a special designed 3DS and the game itself)
"Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Box" (Uknown, more info at a later date)

The SE eStore was updated with these editions, the standard edition of the game is priced at 6090 YEN which is approximately $79 USD.

You can also pre-order the Limited Edition from AMAZON (JP) for 5177 YEN.

Story
King Mickey and Yen Sid prepare for an impending threat by putting Sora and Riku through the Mark of Mastery exam. Sora and Riku are sent into the Sleeping Worlds, where they will face enemies and allies that have never been seen before. If they can successfully complete the task they are given, they will be deemed true Keyblade Masters.

Jump Festa 2012 Day 2

Hey everyone, today marked the end of this year's Jump Festa and much like yesterday we have some KH3D goodies to show off.

In one of the trailers we see Riku in the TRON: Legacy world in what apparently is a lightcycle race on the Grid, while Sora is battling Rinzler (aka Tron). Sora and Riku's costumes also change to fit the world of Tron. Some bloggers managed to play the demo as Riku in Tron's world commenting that the music is familiar throughout the demo!
"City of Illumination" or "Luminus City" are possible names for the Tron: Legacy world and it is also said that much like in KHII it is a sub-world.

And finally:

There is a giant mole Dream Eater.
The Free Flow Action is very gimmicky and allows for many possibilities.
The pre-rendered segments of the PV are absolutely gorgeous.
There appears to be more frustrating 'platforming' as in KH1, but is actually enjoyable this time around!

And that's pretty much it. Tomorrow, Monday, the Jump Festa trailer will be available for public view, so stay tuned!

Hey everyone, so today is the day, Jump Festa has already begun and we have some exciting stuff going on regarding KH3D. I'll be updating this post for today as more news pour in.

Info on the Drop gauge from what I can read, when the Drop Gauge drops to 0, the character (dream eater?) has to sleep.
Pressing start and then hitting the “Drop” button will switch characters.
Wonder Comic is the Reality Shift ability in the Musketeers World.
Sora appears in the 3 Musketeer world in the demo, Mickey doesn’t know Sora but Mickey discusses with him Keyblades and other worlds like Tron: Legacy.
In Sora’s demo he teams up with Wondernyan, Neko Cat, and Zou Elephant.
In Riku’s demo, he finds Pete at the opera house.
Pete has set a trap for Mickey and company.
Riku chases after 3 baddies behind the theater equipment. Yagi Horn, Frog Chef, and Poisonous Lizard were Riku’s Dream Eaters.

New World and Official Site Launched!

Hey everyone, KH Dream Drop Distance was featured in the latest V-Jump issue revealing a new world based on the Disney's "Three Musketeers", Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pete will be returning.

On top of that in the scans below you can see Joshua and Beat from "The World Ends With You" making an appearance, so yeah great news!

Last but not least, the Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Official Site is complete and open to the public. So go check it out, there is also the new version of Dearly Beloved playing in the background. It's already December 17th in Japan meaning that Jump Festa 2012 has officially started, stay tuned for more!

KH Dream Dream Drop Distance on Famitsu and Jump Festa Info!

The Hunchback of Notredame world: “Le Cité des Cloches”

Appearing Characters

Quasimodo – The young man confined within Notredame Cathedral. He favors Esmeralda who helped him despite his appearance.
Esmeralda – A beautiful gypsy girl who loves her freedom. She has a strong sense of justice and has caught the eye of Frollo.
Phoebus – The skilled captain of the guard who was summoned by Frollo. Frollo orders him to eradicate the gypsies from the city, but he gradually begins to disobey.
Claude Frollo – He is a judge with substantial control of the city. Because of his hatred of gypsies, his methods of removing them become violent.

There are great number of scenes including Sora telling Quasimodo to run, Riku meeting Esmeralda, and others involving Sora and Riku.

Pinocchio world: “Prankster’s Paradise”

Appearing Characters

Blue Fairy – The fairy who breathes life into Pinocchio even though he is a doll.
Pinocchio – Having forgotten the promise he made to Geppetto and Jiminy, he accidently becomes dazed by fun things.
Geppetto – He is a craftsman that makes wooden toys. He creates Pinocchio and comes to love him like his own son.
Jiminy Cricket – A cricket residing in Geppetto’s home. He was ordered by the Blue Fairy to educate Pinocchio. This Jiminy Cricket does not have the memories of the Jiminy Cricket that traveled alongside Sora and company in the previous adventures.

There are scenes around the circus entrance and within the circus tent, as well as Sora and Riku talking with the Blue Fairy, Pinocchio, and Jiminy Cricket.

System Reality Shift

In battle, attack the same enemy consecutively. When you lock on to specific objects, a special lock on marker appears. When that happens, you can use the special command “Reality Shift” by pressing the X and A buttons. During that, Sora/Riku disappear from the battle and special actions take place on the lower screen. The Reality Shift command introduced is called “Holy Rope”. Using it, you tie up targets in a line on the bottom screen, then on the top screen a chain appears to attack the enemies one after another in the way you drew it.

Dream Eaters

There are ally and enemy Dream Eaters introduced in battle. Nightmares are enemies, Spirits are allies.

Nightmares

Zou Elephant – An elephant with jutting, purple tusks. It attacks with its large body and long nose. Its long range attacks like firing rocks are its strong points. If you meet the requirements by partnering with a large Dream Eater, you can invoke the “Blow Off” technique to combat it. After twirling your Dream Eater ally around, you can fling it at the enemy.
Dokudoku Lizard (Poisonous Lizard) – A Dream Eater that resembles a fancy purple salamander. From above, it sprinkles poison in a wide range, and can also attack by stretching its long, poisonous tongue.
Ice Penguin – It is dark gray, yellow, and green around its back and belly, with a purple riveted ring around its neck. Sliding across the ground, it attacks within the area it surrounds. It will also abruptly make blocks of ice surround its body.
Dragon Horse – A nightmare resembling a seahorse. It attacks by shooting water like balls from its mouth.
Neko Cat – The nightmare version is violet. It moves around sneakily; if you come in contact with the lightning balls it drops you receive damage.

Spirits

Goat Horn – A dream eater’s whose horns resemble a wind instrument. It’s cooperating technique envelopes the Keyblade in flames which make it more powerful.
Thorn Lion – A lion Dream Eater with a prickly mane and flat feet. A technique where the lion’s thorn tail can be brandished by Sora is introduced.

Techniques: By filling up the pink gauge you can execute co-op techniques with your ally Dream Eaters. For instance, Sora can ride atop a Dream Eater, and Riku can absorb the Dream Eaters to power himself up.

Also it looks like that the Official Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Jump Festa Page is now up and running. December 17-18 draws near so stay tuned for more!

The World Ends With You 2.... Confirmed???

Hey everyone, Neku's cameo appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance might be the start of something big!

In a recent Famitsu interview with the creative director Tetsuya Nomura he hinted that there could be more to come from The World Ends With You. He said that his appearance in the game should be taken of notice of something to come and added that something is being worked upon.

Though he did not confirm anything, it's pretty loud and clear, The World Ends With You 2 might be on the way!!!!

KH Dream Drop Distance Footage from 3DS Conference!

Hey everyone, we've got some awesome new footage from yesterday's 3DS conference held in Japan. It's not something entirely new since most of the scenes were seen in the TGS trailer, however there are a couple new ones, too. The footage features Sora's and Neku's conversation while "Twister" (TWEWY soundtrack) plays in the background. There are also some new battle scenes in Traverse Town and we can clear out a new battle theme. Here is the video:

Also, there is a rumor going around that the game will hit Japan stores in April, but since there is no confirmation about that don't take it for granted.

So yeah that's some great new info, stay tuned as more info will be pouring in as we approach the release.

KH3D Dream Drop Distance at Jump Festa?

Hey everyone, Square Enix, along with plenty of other companies, are going to make an appearance as the awesome Japanese gaming event known as Jump Festa! Perhaps this will mean more Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance footage and information? Who knows!

The event will be held on December 17th and 18th (Japan Standard Time), just outside of Tokyo. With such a big title as Final Fantasy XIII-2 releasing two days prior to Jump Festa, there are bound to be quite the number of Square Enix fans around!

I know, December is pretty long time, but trust me, time flies (humor).... OK that was EPIC FAIL!

KH3D Famitsu Info + Subbed Trailer!

Hey everyone, first of all this post was delayed due to some Blogger issues, but now everything's fine.

So let's cut to the chase, KH3D was featured in Famitsu's latest weekly issue, with a somewhat 7-page article covering some great info from TGS. Along with all the news, Famitsu posted some high resolution screenshots on their website, if you want to check them out you can click here (My blog's FaceBook's page).

“Introduction

The “World Submerged in Sleep” is said to be connected to dreaming, it can be opened by unlocking the “Keyhole of Sleep” that exists in that world. Instead of Heartless, in this world there exist creatures that devour dreams called Dream Eaters. There are two kinds of Dream Eaters, those that consume dreams and plant nightmares and those that eat only bad dreams. Investigating the Dream Eaters becomes the key guiding to the “Keyhole of Sleep”.

Yen Sid says to Sora and Riku, “When you unlock the Keyhole of Sleep and return once more to this place, you’ll be acknowledged as Keyblade Masters.” It is with these words that the adventure takes off.

From the trailer, we can confirm that Sora and Riku have new outfits and that Riku’s hair is cut. The Keyblade that Riku uses is “Way to the Dawn”.

Traverse Town

Two new areas are introduced, “District 4” and “District 5”. In the lit up streets of this place the “Reaper’s Game” is taking place.

Character: Neku Sakuraba

A 15 year old boy who grew up in Shibuya, Tokyo first introduced in The World Ends With You. He is accompanied by a cat type spirit called “Neko Cat” whose tail is like a music note. He has strayed from his partner and since Neku says that having a partner is necessary in order to win the Game, Sora helps him out, though he doesn’t really understand the Game.

Dream Eaters

There are two types of Dream Eaters, your enemies called “Nightmares” and those that fight alongside you as companions called “Spirits”.

Spirit: Koumori Bat

It is a furry bat like Spirit. It is the first Spirit that Riku has.

Spirit: Wonder Cat

Though it’s hard to see what part of it is cat like, it’s a plump animal with a blue back and a white belly. It’s the first Spirit that Sora has.

Nightmare: Kuma Panda

It’s a panda with bear like claws that wears a short cloak and a slightly atrocious glare.

Nightmare: Torpedo Fish

This fish flies midair. Overall it’s about as long as Sora?

Nightmare: Wonder Cat

The Nightmare version, it’s slightly more sinister with red eyes and body and it’s black back.

Looking at the screenshots, it seems that Nightmare and Spirit versions of each.

System

Coop Techniques

When you fill up the pink gauge, you can consume the earned points to do techniques with the Spirits and your companions. They utilize both the buttons and the touch screen. You can utilize both your Dream Eaters at the same time. For instance, Sora can ride atop Wonder Cat and attack while jumping around, and then do a technique where you can manipulate enemies like the Kuma Panda and fling it away.

Riku’s interactions with the Dream Eaters are more direct; they instead attack with the Keyblade as one.

Free Flow Action

When you face a wall or pole and press the Y button, various actions occur, during which if you press the A button you can do the strong Free Flow Attack ability. You can also do the high jump and sky slide actions from this. The Kick Dive ability is one the Free Flow Action that lets you kick off a wall, where if you face toward the ground after doing so you can unleash a strong attack. The Turn Cutter ability lets Sora hang off a pole with the Keyblade and spin, mowing down nearby enemies.

Reality Shift

When a special marker appears over enemies heads during battle and you press the A and X buttons simultaneously you can do this ability. Sora/Riku disappear from the screen, and on the bottom screen special operations can be done. Sora dives under and gathers force up to dive out at the enemies. While you are operating the bottom screen, the battle temporarily pauses.

About the story

Nomura drew the illustration featured at the TGS booth in a hurry. He drew the Dream Eaters that would be your companions.
Nomura drew the new outfits according to how the Osaka team wished. They’re like their older outfits with minor changes.
They are versions between KH1 and KH2, which become the outfits for this title.
Riku’s hair grew during the time he was away to show the passage of time, now his hair is cut immediately after that.
The “World Submerged in Sleep” is a complex story, but there were worlds other than those that Sora restored in KH1, some that were not submerged in darkness. Like the worlds of the princesses and Dumbo’s, etc. In the end of KH1 it was established that some of those worlds were restored, but not all of them. Those that were neither in light nor in darkness, but those that were submerged in sleep.
Since those worlds are essential asleep, the dreams of those worlds become the setting.
Sora and Riku will travel to those worlds to awaken them from their sleep.
When a world is awoken from it’s sleep, it will be restored to it’s original form.
This title involves taking an exam in order to qualify for the Mark of Mastery, so it’ll also be concerned with events that took place in BBS.
All the Disney worlds appearing wil be new, and there will be new areas in existing worlds.
Temporarily taking on their KH1 forms, they’ll enter into the worlds of sleep . Additionally, Yen Sid says that in order to become a Master, the self taught way that they use the Keyblade will be reset and that it is necessary they learn how to use the Keyblade appropriately from the beginning. When they request to take the exam, Sora says he doesn’t need it, but since Riku has been overwhelmed by darkness before he doesn’t have the self-confidence. Also, Sora and Riku will be taking it together.
The opening of this title will be in Xehanort’s point of view. Additionally, there will be a surprise unlike anything seen before in the last scene.

About Dream Eaters

The Dream Eaters do not approach anyone and consume dreams in the World of Sleep where there are no Heartless. If Sora/Riku don’t use the power of the Dream Eaters, they can’t go to the other worlds.
Their abilities too are related to the Dream Eaters.
The Dream Eaters were designed not to be traditionally cute, but to have charm that couldn’t be disliked. Wonder Cat was drawn to share that idea.
The mark of the Dream Eaters started with a heart as the base and the image of tremors. Nightmares have that sort of bad feeling.
The mark above your own Dream Eaters shows your ownership, it’s also displayed on the map. The boss fights are elaborated in a different direction, where you’ll have to use the map’s characteristics to your advantage. For instance, the floor will break out from under you and the field area will expand. Using the map, you’ll be able to identify your location quickly in that sort of situation.
The color scheme is new this time; it’s more pastel unlike what we’ve done before. However, you’ll be able to change the colors of your companion Dream Eaters.
The leveling up of the Dream Eaters is directly related to the growth of Sora and Riku. So far we’ve only seen 2 at a time in battle, but if you give it your all you’ll be able collect all the types.
Nomura isn’t quite sure off the top of his head, but there are dozens of Dream Eater types.

About Neku

Neku’s appearance in Traverse Town was by special means that have to do with his reason for being there. He’ll show up in District 1, etc.
Beginning in Traverse Town as usual you’ll meet your party member, but since I wanted to put in a fresh character, we put in Neku from The World Ends With You.
This time Traverse Town is constructed around the reason that Neku and co. have come. He has been separated from his original partner Shiki.
We’ll go into more detail about Shiki and the others in a follow up report.

Concerning a sequel to The World Ends With You, there may be something going on.

Abilities and 3D Vision

The Reality Shift ability in Traverse Town has Sora sink to the bottom screen where he can aim at the enemies. It’s different in each world, and Riku’s ability is different too. In Riku’s Reality Shift you can touch the bottom screen to connect enemies and objects in a line creating chain that Riku will attack following along on the upper screen.

The way Sora and Riku interact with their companion Dream Eaters is different. Sora can ride atop the Dream Eaters and be thrown off, while they serve as power ups to Riku.
Like shown in the TGS demo, Sora can have two companions at the same time and use them both to do the Dual Link ability where the two Dream Eaters combine into one big Wonder Cat. Filling up the gauge, you’ll be able to use the Reality Shift and Dual Link abilities successively.
Since the concept of the game was bold action, this title really makes use of the Free Flow Action ability. Though you have a lot of battle options, with this alone you can do many actions like spinning around and jump kicking depending on the terrain.
Since it’s hard to watch even in 2D because the movements are so intense, in 3D your eyes may become tired after playing for a long time. There is depth in the 3D vision, when Sora jumps out of the screen, it’s almost becomes a burden to one’s eyes. I think it’s probably best to use the 3D vision during cutscenes.
There will be multiplayer functions, we’ll explain more in a follow up report.

Final Notes

KH3D is set to release Spring 2012 in Japan.
It’s currently about 60% to 70% complete.

KH 3D Extended "Closed" Trailer Summary

Hey everyone, a “closed” trailer that was shown to a limited audience during Tokyo Game Show, has also been described. The trailer itself is slightly extended to show more of several scenes that was displayed on the public side of the booth.

“(BGM – Destati)

- Mysterious Tower -

Sora and Riku are being told what the MoM test is and being approved of it.

Donald and Goofy are also standing, at that time, side by side in reserve. The side of the royal palace (Disney Castle) makes an appearance.
Mickey appears to be looking on.

Also, the current state of the main characters: Riku’s only physical change was his hair being cut, but for both Sora and Riku, their
clothing had some changes as well.

Yen Sid: “From this point onward, Sora and Riku will go and take the Mark of Mastery exam.”

Sora, surprised: “Even without taking it, no one can beat me!”

Riku, facing downward: “Having walked the path of darkness, I wonder if it’d really be right for me to wield the Keyblade. You’d have to make sure.
Sora: Riku…”

Yen Sid: “Let’s open the keyhole of sleep. If you return back to this place, then I will consider you Masters.”

Then immediately after Yen Sid speaks, a stream of imagery begins to play.
- Sora and Riku standing on Destiny Islands scene.
- We see Sora floating through something that looks like a tornado.

Traverse Town 1st District

Sora floats down onto the second floor of the building near the place where the Blue Trinity mark was [from KH1]. (The blogger mentions again that some words were omitted.)

Sora: “Eh…. Here is…”

Sora: “…..These strange clothes!”

Sora: “Ah….Asides from that, where’s Riku?”

After this, Sora puts up his hands and calls out…

Sora: “Heeeey… Rikuuuu!!”

Neku: “Hey, quiet down.”

Sora looks around trying to find the source of the voice.

Neku: “It’s such a dangerous noise.”

The bottom half of Neku’s body appears from the rooftop.

Sora: “Uwaaah!!”

Sora falls over in surprise as Neku comes to down to his level.

Neku: “You’re Sora?”

Radiant Garden! —

From the viewpoint of someone who’s staggering on their feet…. This moment seems to be mirrored with Even and Ienzo also collapsing onto the floor.

Braig: “Xehanort! What are you going to do about the Heart!?”

The focus is again, from the staggering/wavering viewpoint towards Braig. (Like in the trailer)

Braig: “You…., did you regain your memory?”

Xehanort produces the keyblade. It’s breaking out as the keyblade is raised in the air.

2012 Spring date appears.

Neku: “My name is…..Neku…….Sakuraba.”

Sora: “Neku….Sakuraba? That’s an interesting name!”

Neku: “I don’t think it’s anything special.“

TGS 2011 Day 3: KH3D Sora's Gameplay and Battle System Info!

Hey everyone, TGS Day 3 sum up coming right up. First of all, does anyone remember the official Kingdom Hearts twitter that director Tetsuya Nomura used to post updates on? Well surprise surprise, there's been one! He talks about three aspects of the KH3D battle system.

Free Flow Action
These are the "flashy" actions Nomura has mentioned in the past. By pressing Y, you can make your character kick off walls, swing around poles, slide down rails, and so-forth. You can string together these actions. You can also connect into other moves -- pressing A or a powerful attack, or B for a jump.

Reality Shift
When you're attacking enemies, objects and enemies will sometimes be highlighted with a cursor. Press X and A simultaneously, and you can perform special attacks through the lower screen.

Dual Link

In DDD, you fight along side monsters known as "Dream Eaters." In the TGS demo, you start off with two of these in your party. As you build up a gauge, the Dream Eater's icon will begin to flash. Tap the icon on the lower screen, and you'll be able to do a team attack. You can also team up with both Dream Eaters simultaneously.

The Heartless are made up of darkness.
But in "The world enclosed by sleep" a different darkness exists.
Monsters who eat dreams, "Dream Eaters"
These are divided into two types:

TGS 2011 KH 3D gameplay!

In it you can see Riku fighting against the new Dream Eater enemies in The City of Bells with his two companions, the Koumori bat and another creature that actually looks somewhat like a ram.
The maps are quite large, and the Notre Dame cathedral looks absolutely incredible.

KH3D TGS Trailer & Demo +Release Date!

Hey everyone, we have a new poster from TGS regarding Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (click to enlarge).

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is set for release in SPRING 2012 in Japan!!!
At TGS there is a playable demo and a trailer, I am assuming that the trailer might be released online very soon but until then I came across a summary of the trailer.

"The trailer begins with Yen Sid’s voice explaining the circumstances of the adventure taking place this time around. It seems Riku and Sora will be contending to finally become Keyblade Masters. It takes place in “the world submerged in sleep”, but the details are still unknown. Also, the enemies are called Dream Eaters, goblins who consume sleep.

Once again, Sora descends into Traverse Town, calling in search for Riku, when he hears the voice of a new character say, “The Noise are horrible…” The guest character appearing is Neku, the headphones toting main character from “It’s a Wonderful World” (The World Ends With You). It seems Neku is caught in the Reaper’s Game, where if you cannot complete the mission given by the Reapers, your existence will be eliminated. But he doesn’t have a partner; it seems Sora may be lending him a hand?

Then suddenly the round form of an adorable creature appears. That creature is shown rolling about on the flat top side of a hand using the camera function. Just like a puppy, you can see it’s belly. Seems you can pet it using the touch pad, it looks so cute when it’s eyes light up! It seems Sora befriends it, riding upon it during battle and hopping around upon it. Also, it’s so speedy it’s hard to tell what’s happening, but since the original concept of the title is “bold action”, it seems that the battles are more refreshing than anything in the series so far!

There is also a surprise in the final scene. There is a cutscene from Xehanort’s point of view, the camera faces Braig who says, “Has your memory returned?” Maybe this will be one of the memories explained in this title."

The available demo at TGS, features Neku (protagonist of "The World Ends With You) in the game. Sora is searching for Riku, but instead he finds Neku hanging from a rooftop and he even makes relevance to the Reapers' Game, too! Here is what's in the demo, Jeremy Parish from 1UP:

"Neku appears as a guest character in Sora's side of the TGS demo -- though not a playable guest. Both Neku and his rival/friend/frienemy Riku team up with captured dream-monsters this time around rather than fighting alongside licensed characters. Neku's role is more that of the Disney-world guests from previous games. He shows up, reveals that he's caught in a "game," leaving him 43 minutes to win or die. Naturally, he asks Sora to be his partner but ultimately decides the tousle-haired protagonist is "a weird guy" and takes off. Sora follows, riding rails in pursuit of Neku, but quickly encounters a boss battle set in a cul-de-sac of Traverse Town.

Both sides of the demo (Sora and Riku) are essentially the same, really: A brief story set-up, a few set encounters, and a boss fight. Riku interacts with Quasimoto from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is admittedly less interesting than Neku; on the other hand, Riku has a double-jump, which is always great. The demo is just enough to give a feel for what KH3D adds to the series. While the camera is still a hyperactive mess that makes boss battles a pain (all the 3DS's buttons are used, so there's no lock-on system that I could find), everything else about the game feels significantly improved over previous Kingdom Hearts. The action is fluid and smooth, with much more refined combat. Fighting enemies feels less like combo-driven button mashing that locks your hero into canned animations than in previous installments, and your skill set has been improved considerably. Both demo characters possess a standard repertoire of magic skills such as Cura and Blizzaga, which are activated and cycled through as they were in Birth By Sleep, but they also can perform special Dual Link attacks with their partners by pressing Y.

Dual Link skills are context-sensitive and seem to vary according to your current partners, enemies, and positioning. You can pull off different skills while on the ground or in the air. A key part of these skills seems to be something called (inexplicably) Holy Rope, which are a series of nodes placed around battlefields. Pressing A and X while near one of these Holy Rope points freezes the action and allows you to use the touch screen to draw connections between points on the area map, which then sends Sora or Riku dashing through the air along the prescribed course. Using the Holy Rope paths to intersect foes allows you to pull off standard or special attacks while they're otherwise out of reach.

The TGS demo of Dream Drop Distance is fairly brief -- about 20 minutes to complete both portions -- but shows a game that looks and plays beautifully. Square hasn't formally announced a U.S. release date for KH3D, but the notion that they wouldn't localize such a sure hit is enough to get a man laughed out of the room. Honestly now."

That sure is a lot of reading, but it worths every single second!

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Footage and Compatible with 3DS Pad

Hey everyone, Nintendo's Pre-TGS 3DS conference just ended, and guess what!
We have some Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance footage! Even though it's only a few seconds, it's still something to watch!

The video also features the newly announced Theatrhythym: Final Fantasy, if you want to skip right at KH3D you can go at 5:22:

We can see Donald and Goofy as confirmed party members, and this takes place in Traverse Town! Along with this, there is plenty of wall-bouncing by Sora, and what seems to be some new areas of Traverse Town! You can also check some HQ screenshots right below, and from what I can make out, it seems that Sora has a new outfit?

Also as the new 3DS slide pad was announced there is list of games that it is going to be compatible with, and guess what, KH Dream Drop Distance is one of them, see for yourself here!

Dream Drop Distance, as expected, is allocated a large area. Also there is an uknown "area", it could be Kingdom Hearts related, or not.

The Kingdom Hearts 3D page for this year's Tokyo Game Show has launched! Although it is currently quite bare, no doubt plenty of new additions will be made as the days go by. Three messages currently lead the page:

Tokyo Game Show details from Square Enix

Hey everyone, as you know, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is set to be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2011, which runs between September 15-18. Square Enix have announced that the Kingdom Hearts 3D display will be open to 80 members of the public, selected randomly out of those who apply in the Japanese Square Enix members group. As people from the public are viewing the showcase, this means we have a high chance of any trailer or demo contents being leaked. Hope you are looking forward to the event!

KH Dream Drop Distance to be playable at TGS!

Hey everyone, with TGS '11 being a few steps closer we finally have some exciting new info.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is said to be featured in an upcoming issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine, according to
FF-Reunion. This issue, the 500th issue, will be released on August 11, 2011, and will contain cover art by Tetsuya Nomura, known as "Nomura All-Stars".

It will also contain an interview with Nomura where he discusses, among other Square Enix titles, Dream Drop Distance.

However, we already have some bits and pieces of that interview. To begin with, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance has been confirmed to make a playable debut at this year’s annual Tokyo Game Show. Better news yet, is that the development process has been quite spirited as of late – Nomura expects the game to arrive on Japan’s store shelves at the start of 2012!

The interview also touched briefly on the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. Nomura admitted that it's become difficult to get new players into the series at present. This is one thing they're hoping to address as part of the series' 10th anniversary. One part of this plan is some sort of "HD technical test" for the series. And that's pretty much it, expect a full interview on August 11th and fingers crossed for HD remakes!!!

Hey everyone, we now have the complete translated interview from Famitsu featuring Tetsuya Nomura giving out info about the future of KH series.

- From the survey, most fans like Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix the most.

Tetsuya Nomura: Since I often hear that fans usually like one title in particular, it was a little unexpected to see that Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix was the top and that Kingdom Hearts II ranked second. Birth by Sleep is a subtitle, but since it’s a part of the main series, I’m happy to see that it ranked highly.

- The results of the survey show that the part people like most about the series is the story. You are write out the plot for all the titles of the series, so when writing up the story what do you focus on above all else?

Nomura: Making it “surprising.” While I’m writing out the plot, if things seem that you can predict the outcome on your own, then I think of a different, unexpected development.

- You really can’t predict the ending of every title. Do you discuss and make decisions on the final outcome of the story with the staff?

Nomura: I don’t. I ask the staff to flesh out things for the scenarios, even with that I make the final supervisions. Since I’m the only one who knows the whole story and the developments that take place afterward, I have a hard time figuring out how much to tell the staff about. (Smiling wryly)

- Are there modifications to the story to suit overseas fans?

Nomura: I believe that if the story is interesting, it will be well received; so it isn’t regulated only for specific regions. Though those at Disney said it has a very Japanese sense about it, I guess you could call it ‘Eastern thinking.’ (Laughs) Still, I had been thinking that I would make the story more clear and simpler. But while I was developing the first Kingdom Hearts, I received a single piece of advice from Sakaguchi-san*. That was, “If you don’t make it more complex like with Final Fantasy, you won’t be able to compete.” So accordingly, I decided to develop the story in a way that fans could imagine on their own the remaining story how they like.

*Hironobu Sakaguchi is a former developer who had worked on the Final Fantasy series for Square.

- Is the story of Kingdom Hearts 3D mysterious too?

Nomura: It’s fairly complicated. Right now I’m telling Disney about the scenarios, but it’s hard for them to understand it all at once. I’m explaining the reason and the established connections for each mystery one by one. It’s difficult since their approval is necessary to move forward with localization, but there are many people in Disney who love the Kingdom Hearts series as well. They want to create the game accurately too, so somehow they’re following along with me.

– Along those lines, looking at the age group of those who responded to the survey including the overseas fans, it seems the series appeals the most to a young generation.

Nomura: There’s a sense that Kingdom Hearts appeals to wider age range of fans compared to Final Fantasy. Also that ratio wise, it seems more fans are female. I’m especially happy to see that there is strong support for the series from fans in foreign countries too.

- Sora was the top ranked favorite character.

Nomura: It must be because he’s an uncomplicated guy. (Laughs) For the promotional trailers, we look for scenes with particularly good lines to highlight. But he gives us trouble finding lines that are suitable for the trailers; since Sora is a simple guy who doesn’t think too deeply about things, he doesn’t really say lines we can use. (Smiles wryly)

– Roxas ranked second, his heartrending destiny seemed to influence the top rated favorite scene.

Nomura: Roxas is someone the fans think a lot about, they say he’s like a Final Fantasy type character. Along with his friendship with Axel, they’re an impressive set, huh?

- What scenes left an impression on you?

Nomura: The most impressionable scenes for me were the endings of KH1 and KH2, after that the scene in KH2 when Roxas’ summer vacation ends left a deep impression on me.

- Next are the results concerning the favorite abilities. Glide and Dodge Roll were popular.

Nomura: I’m not surprised those two abilities were the most popular. They have a reinvigorating feel to them, I like them too. Even in Final Fantasy Versus XIII we’re including a one-handed rotation ability similar to Dodge Roll too.

- Continuing, what about your favorite Keyblade?

Nomura: Oathkeeper carries a deep meaning with the story and the design of it is clean, so it’s the one that I’m most pleased with.

- About the worlds, Twilight Town was the most popular. A lot of people said they liked the music.

Nomura: We really fussed over embodying the image of coming from school as the sunsets; it’s a world that left a deep impression on me too. As for the song, I gave Shimomura-san* a lot of trouble and pushed her to improve it. We had an image derived around another artist’s song, but it really worked out well, the result was a song with a completely different sort of anguish.

* Yoko Shimomura is the series music composer.

- On the flip side, the most unpopular world was Atlantica.

Nomura: It’s difficult to move around there, huh? Sorry about that. When you are in the water, you are not just swimming, but fighting enemies, we had trouble adjusting the character’s movement to do both simultaneously.

- The top ranked favorite enemy was the very familiar Shadow Heartless. Out of those appearing in the ranking, which ones did you design?

Nomura: The Shadows, Neo Shadows, White Mushrooms, Dusks and so on; I drew them myself. The enemies dictate the overall design aspects of the series, so I work them out with the staff afterwards.

- Oppositely, the Dancer Nobody was the least popular.

Nomura: It was formidable enemy, so of course it wasn’t popular huh.

- Well, let’s move on to the topic of mysteries people are interested in. There is a lot of interest about Organization XIII’s past.

Nomura: Most of it isn’t related to the main story of the series, so I haven’t paid too much attention to it. (Wry laughter)

- Many fans brought up the “data concealed within Sora.”

Nomura: That’s what Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance deals with. The other mysteries will be something to deal with another time.

- Alright, last question on the topic. There are an overwhelming number of people who want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be released.

Nomura: The answer for them has been prepared in KH3D.

- Many fans want the series to keep continuing afterwards as well.

Nomura: The series that has developed so far as “the Xehanort saga” should end once and for all in KH3. However, I’ve outlined a tentative plot that takes place afterward, so we could continue onto a new chapter. Sora would remain the main character; that wouldn’t change.

- By the way, the 10th anniversary of the series is next year. The number of titles in the series has really increased since it started. Some have said they want to play HD remakes of the past titles…

Nomura: Whether we release one or not is a different story; we’re concerned with the HD technical limits of the past titles.

- As for the current developments, how is KH3D coming along?

Nomura: I’d say the development status of KH3D is about 40%-50%? We’ll start recording the voices soon. The theme this time was “bold action”, but we also wanted to stress the importance of the story’s tempo. Though the story is important to fans as shown by the results of the survey, it won’t be drawn-out.

- Does that mean you’ll be decreasing the number of cutscenes?

Nomura: Not meaning that we’ve decreased the number of cutscenes, but having each one explained one by one reduces the tempo of the game, so we’re introducing a new system to make up for it. It’s a directionally different system like what’s being introduced in Final Fantasy Versus XIII which won’t have cutscenes; it’ll be a sort of integration where you can play during the event scene. Along with that, Sora will fight alongside different friends. There’s also a secret movie being prepared, so please look forward to it.

- It’ll be a while until our next follow up report, huh. Well then, what’s the last message to all the fans.

Nomura: I’ve had your support for almost 10 years. Thanks to you guys, Kingdom Hearts has become a long series. To everyone who gave their opinions, I’ll read them very carefully. Thank you so much. Also, from this summer to next spring, we’ll continue releasing information and sales dates for KH among other titles from the first development department, so please look forward to it.

Hey everyone, exactly as feared, if you were reading my Facebook updates from my blog's page you already know that there were absolutely no announcements regarding KH in this year's E3. I really just don't get it, Nomura had confirmed that KH3D will make an appearance in E3 but when asked at Square Enix booth in the event they said that there is no such thing here, weird...
Anyway assuming that all this "news drought" will continue throughout summer, there might just be something extra at TGS 2011, so fingers crossed.
There was also the possibility of TWEWY 2 announcement let's hope that this too will make an appearance in TGS.

Now in other news, I've changed the mobile version of my blog's design into something more "blogger-official" so yeah, grab your phones and hit my URL. Also, I'm creating a Twitter account for my blog so you can stay updated anytime anywhere. And that pretty much concludes it... let's just hope they'll give us something before TGS.

E3 2011 - News for KH.... maybe?? [UPDATED]

Hey everyone, well as you may have noticed news for KH haven't been around for quite some time, meaning that there will be random posts for other things.

So, this year's E3 will be held from June 7th up to June 9th, and I'm guessing (since there hasn't been anything fascinating regarding KH3D since the announcement) that there might be a full presentation of the game, and well, maybe a gameplay. Although nobody has confirmed that we'll see the KH series in E3 2011 I'm pretty positive that we will. If not then I really don't know what we are going to do, I mean seriously the last great thing that happened in the KH community is the release of KH BBS,358/2 Days and Re:Coded OST back in February 2nd. So, fingers crossed!

The World Ends With You 2 to be announced at E3?

With KH news drought lately I ran into this and I got super-excited.

Keep in mind that this is pure speculation until otherwise confirmed. Remember The World Ends With You (or TWEWY for short) on DS? It's been a while since we heard something about it.

So VGTribune‘s associate editor Tweeted that he heard the supposedly announcement of The World Ends With You 2 will be made on E3, from a very reliable source.
TWEWY was a shot in the arm for the JRPG genre: it introduced a bold, dark and original story, great characters, fantastic use of the DS’s unique features, an engaging (and fun!) battle system, and an on-the-fly difficulty adjustment feature. Add to this a fantastic current-day, real-life Japanese setting, a highly-stylised look, and a soundtrack that was worth hunting down the Japan-only soundtrack to hear.

So it was a winner, then. Unfortunately, it didn’t exactly set the charts alight, but it’s garnered a frighteningly passionate fanbase since 2007, and it hasn’t aged one jot. Sadly, we wouldn’t even know which format would win a TWEWY sequel in the volatile mobile gaming market these days, but I'm hoping that the game’s unique dual screen battle system will tie it to 3DS. Assuming that this whole thing isn’t just a cruel joke, of course.

So yeah, that's pretty much all. Let's hope we'll have some KH news in the next days.

KH3D: Dream Drop Distance Famitsu interview

Hey everyone, we received a Nomura interview from Famitsu (japanese magazine) regarding the new KH title, KH3D. The interview was quite long and they've mentioned stuff we've already known, but a single line from Nomura made the difference and made us all happy reading the news:

"Nomura actually hasn't drawn any specific drawings for Kingdom Hearts 3D yet. He's actually looking into an idea of changing Sora and Riku's clothing. One of the reasons for this is that if the characters appear in the same clothing, some people might think that KH3D is a remake.

Of course, Sora and Riku have to appear in their original Kingdom Hearts forms as part of the story. Nomura said that he's considering having them appear in their current clothing at the start of the game, and change midway through..."

[OTHER NEWS] PSP NGP Announcement!!!

Hey everyone, so other than KH, Sony today announced the next-gen PSP, codenamed PSP NGP (Next Generation Portable). Pretty exciting I should say, it looks really nice with the design almost the same as the other ones, however the big changes are inside.

It's got a quad-core Cortex-A9 and a quad-core Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU doing the grunt work within. I've never seen a handheld this powerful. Then again, considering the darn thing won't be launching until this holiday season, maybe quad-core parts will be the least Sony will need in order to match up to the "super phones" coming up this year. I'm just wondering how long any of these souped-up portables will last on a charge.

5-inch touchscreen OLED display (960 x 544 resolution)
Front and back cameras
Dual analog sticks
Connectivity: 3G, WiFi, GPS

So yeah that's pretty much it, I am much more excited about it because I am pretty sure that Nomura knew about this and that's why there was that announcement of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep -Volume Two-. We might don't get to see a KHIII in PS3 soon but if BBSvol.2 comes out on PSP NGP it will be the same experience.

Hey everyone, so yeah I've finished KHBBSFM and I saw the newly added secret ending, one word BREATHTAKING, what I loved most of it is that the new secret episode is a part of the secret ending. Also at the end of the secret ending we saw "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep ~Volume Two~" popping out, so yeah that's probably a sequel to BBS. Although I am excited about it I really think they should start doing something about KHIII

Hey everyone, today is the day, KH BBS Final Mix finally released in Japan. I pre-ordered mine so I got it earlier, meaning that I've been playing it since January 18th. The game looks awesome with new enemies, areas and fresh new music to go with it, I totally love it. I am near the end of the game so as soon as I finish it I'll let you know about the new Secret Ending.

Kingdom Hearts 3D name Revealed and more [BIG UPDATE x2]

Hey Everyone, Square Enix has just revealed the full title of the next game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise!
The game is called Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance!

The revealing of the title came from Square Enix’s 1st Production Department Premiere event going on now!

That's what the guests from the event felt like:

“will make use of 3D, having such elements as “falling from high places flying far distancesThey’re placing a lot of work on the action part of the game, offering a major sense of speedpromises a game that makes use of the various functionalities of the 3DSYou’ll trade off between Sora and Riku. The game’s tempo and strategic feel will all be fresh.“

The trailer that was shown presented a battle scene in Traverse Town with Sora swinging around on street light poles and Riku kicking off walls to advance.

There are also several sources that reported about a new world and that is The Hunchback of Notre Dame!

Additionally Square Enix has just put up the official site for KH 3D: Dream Drop Distance but for now it’s just an information page that you can view in the link below:

Kingdom Hearts 3D and BBS Final Mix

Hey everyone, there are some exciting news for both titles the first thing I am going to talk about is KH 3D.
It is said that it will make it's first appearance at Square Enix’s 1st Production Department Premiere Party. But now Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed its appearance as well as Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix in the recent Dengeki magazine interview.

Here’s a translated summary of the article:

Tetsuya Nomura has shared a few details with Dengeki on the upcoming “Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier” event (formerly the “Fabula Nova Crystallis Conference”).

The event was originally scheduled for January 11, but was pushed back to January 18. The reason for this was due to timing related to magazine publishing.
While the event was originally announced as being mostly a press event, it has instead shifted to being a “premium event” for fans. The focus will be not on demos but on video footage.
Developers of the various games will appear at the event.
Versus will, as expected, be shown at the event. We’ll get to hear main character Noctis speak for the first time. In addition, we’ll get to see plenty of actual footage from the game, although this is apparently before the game’s visuals have been given a quality bosot.

Kingdom Hearts 3DS and Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix will also be shown.
With this information, we can hopefully see an actual trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3D during the Premiere Party!

And we now have a trailer of KH BBS Final MIx from Jump Festa '11 and there is a little little glimpse of NO HEART (the new boss mentioned in previous post)

Hey everyone, so how you've been? I was E X T R E M E L Y busy that's why updates was a no no for quite some time and I am truly sorry about that...

So this will be a GIGANTIC sum up of news regarding the KH series!!! OK, let's begin

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

To begin with, we have the US and EU release of the game with quite some changes (new keyblades, stickers, new secret boss, some extra challenges for mini games and extra soundtrack) from the JP one. By the way, the game has been patched to work on the latest CFWs so if you haven't downloaded yet, go ahead...

Buuuut just as my friend says "The Japanese like us, but they don't love us" they decided to release a Final Mix version of the game!!!!

Here is a list of what extra the Final Mix version is going to have:

An additional secret boss
All those extras the US and EU versions had
A new secret ending
A new playable chapter "Secret Episode"
And a redeemable code for the new Dissidia FF game to unlock Cloud's costum from the original KH game

But still this is not the end because new information are pouring in every day like those that there's gonna be a Mirage Arena challenge where you fight Monstro and a D-Link with the Unversed.
The release date of the game is: 01/20/2011

No discussion about the release of the game out of Japan... yet.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded

Earlier we had the Japanese release and I've tried it, it's quite good... well better than 358/2 Days!!!
So, not much to say here just the english version release dates:

Kingdom Hearts 3D

3D news are gaining interest after a recent interview Nomura had for the "Nintendo Dream". He said that KH 3D is a set up for KHIII, that the end will be the beginning of the next big KH title. They are now at the world selecting phase and he said that they want to give to players something new, so they are trying to select the most fresh, and never before seen on KH, Disney worlds. He added that the 3D effect that the 3DS gives will be part of the gameplay and that gameplay will somehow make it to KHIII
He didn't say a precise release date, only that it will be finished late 2011.

OTHER KH NEWS

In that same interview from KH 3D, he was asked what would they do for KH's 10th anniversary in 2012 and if whether that would be a remake of the original KH. He said that they have something in mind and that this could be something big, but don't expect a KHIII by then.

E3 2010: Kingdom Hearts Lineup!!!

E3 2010 came to an end.... sadly... OK so at this years E3 we had some exciting news about Kingdom Hearts Series, here is what happened:

First off we have the announcement and press release of Kingdom Hearts 3D. A new Kingdom Hearts game featured on the Nintendo 3DS in which show Sora and Riku at their original ages in the first Kingdom Hearts games but director Tetsuya Nomura assures the fans that it is a brand new game.
Second we have the remake of Kingdom Hearts Coded, dubbed Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded for the Nintendo DS. The game was announced a week ago but it did get some limelight at E3 including several screenshots as well as the opening of the Japanese website which is set for a Fall 2010 release in Japan. Here is the E3 trailer (thanks to KHinsider):

Third we have the official North American Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep website updating with the worlds sections being updated as well as the addition of three videos showing off basic gameplay, deck commands, and command styles.
Fourth, Square Enix's E3 2010 website was updated to show off Terra,Ventus, and Aqua's individual gameplay videos.
Fifth, several of the major gaming sites have posted their impressions of the Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep demo. Also Gamespot's interview withTetsuya Nomura about Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is up.
Sixth, Tetsuya Nomura conducted an interview with Famitsu magazine talking about details about the new Kingdom Hearts 3D game as well asanswering fan's questions on Square Enix's E3 2010 site.
Seventh, new English pictures of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep via Square Enix's E3 2010 Press Kit were put up online.
Eighth, the most important one of all, the E3 trailer for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep was added showing off English dialogue as well as a first look of the new hidden boss!

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Official EU and NA release dates!!!

Square Enix have confirming the forthcoming release dates for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep in North America and Europe via the games official website:

North America Release Date: September 7th 2010
European Release Date: September 10th 2010

Look out for additional coverage on the localised version of the game at E3 2010 next month.

And one last thing, all of you who have CFW on your PSP and just can't wait another 4 months (like me) there is a guy that's working on a translation patch translating everything, and I mean E V E R Y T H I N G (cutscenes, menus etc.), he stated that he'll have it done in the next couple of weeks.

KH: BbS English patch for CFW released!!!

It's done, the english patch for the JPN, BBS is out, of course it works only with CFW (5.50 GEN-D3, 5.03 GEN-C, it is also confirmed working on 5.00 M33 but with some serious issues)
So you can download it HERE (instructions included, however it's not as simple as it looks) you'd better check for instruction around THIS forum or just google it.

So yeah while this released a 0.5 version of the patch allowing BBS to work on CFW has also been released. You can download it HERE check that same forum I mentioned earlier for instructions.

Jungle Book world was originally supposed to be in Birth By Sleep!!!

Hey everyone,
now that the patch is out and more people are finally playing BBS, a hacker has found some remnants from a world that was not in the game after he modified those remnants and finally made them playable, the result was this:

The hacker says that the first room appearing in the video is called "Louie's Ruins: Plaza" so from that he guessed that it should be Jungle Book, also as you've seen this guy is also working for an english patch.

Hello, Hello everyone!!!!
Totally awesome as you've read the title the patch is out!!! Yaay to tell you the truth I bought the UMD so I won't be needing any patch although as I've seen in videos everything goes a lot faster than the UMD. I care about the english version of BBS, oh which by the way is said to be released in July.

Sooooo that's all, since I didn't make out much from the install tutorial go HERE and I wish you the best, happy playing!!!!

BBS Ultimania Details: 3 New KH titles?

The Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania has released, and details from the intensive guidebook containing an interview with series director Tetsuya Nomura have already been revealed. Check them out below:

“About the next title, Kingdom Hearts 3 depends on Final Fantasy XIII Versus, but development of the next title is already underway. There are two titles other than Kingdom Hearts 3 in conception, and I think I’ll release one within this year.”

“As from next year, I want to put out a title with multiple main characters.”

“The series won’t end in Kingdom Hearts 3, more like the conclusion of the Xehanort saga.”

“It’s not the case that when Sora’s story is over another hero’s story will begin; Sora will be the hero until the end.”

And on the overseas version of BBS: “We added the Critical degree of difficulty, more cutscenes, more songs to the Rhythmic Ice Cream mini game, more Keyblades, more types of enemies and altered battle balance. I still can’t say we’ll release a Final Mix, but we can’t give it the generous treatment like with Re:Chain of Memories.”

So as you guess we are all super excited, waiting for more!!!

Final Fantasy XIII released Worldwide!!!!!!

First of all a HUUUUGE sorry again for not posting this at it's original date... but I was away so yeah.... there was no way i could do that.

So yeah, Final Fantasy XIII is finally released after many years of development, Square Enix finally made our dream come true.
And as expected, the game's storyline is just awesome, so are the graphics, and the battle system is just amazing, you would think it's just an old FF battle system.... you are soo wrong, the battle system doesn't even remind you that you are playing FF, now hitting a command means jumping and dodging all around the area, and the combination of attacks and spells you can
make are limitless. The new Paradigm Mode makes it even better, while you have Lightning smashing the enemies you can have the two other party members casting spells on them, and then when a member is hurt you change paradigm and now as a medic cure everyone and have some other as sentinel to take all the attacks.
I got the Collector's Edition, it included a CD with the greatest tracks in the game, some stickers, a booklet with the characters and the world and some cards with Eidolons (summons if you prefer).

So yeah I totally recommend it.... that's pretty much it, have a good time and check back tomorrow for some super duper news about Kingdom Hearts!!!!!

Kingdom Hearts Series: Confirmation of NEW Kingdom Hearts Game!!!

Hey Everyone, another Tetsuya Nomura interview which includes details about changes being made for the western release and also the future installments for the series!

– We’re anxious when it comes to the next title in the series.

Nomura: To start with, there is the overseas version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The general specifications for it have been settled. We intended to put in a “Critical Mode” in the battle system. The bosses we felt were a little weak have become stronger. We also thought that the attack “Mega Flare” was too strong so there are plans to regulate it as well. The various circumstances of the cutscenes will change too,they will return more to the original plan. They will be adjusted so that way the story is easier to understand and supplementary parts will be added.

– It seems like there are various changes being made. May we be expecting a Final Mix version?

Nomura: As for that, it depends on how much the domestic version changes. However, since we basically want to produce one title a year for the Kingdom Hearts series, I don’t plan on going several years without releasing news.

– In another 2 years it’ll be the 10th anniversary of the series. How about Kingdom Hearts 3?

Nomura: Haha I can’t talk about that, it’s a secret! As I’ve said before, the next release relates to the mystery of the series.

– Do you see the complete series concluding in KH3?

Nomura: Kingdom Hearts has been Sora’s story, but the series is currently expanding, it’s also the story of another person. Right now, you could say “that person is the center of the series”.

– The series is currently expanding!?

Nomura: I can’t say anymore than that. (Laughs)

– Are there any other titles in the works?

Nomura: With everything going on, I can say there is one title being prepared for public announcement; the advertisement department is already discussing it with me. Please look forward to more about it.

It's a nice game and I really like it, but the songs included are 3 and one of them is a sample so it just doesn't feel like spending $2.99/2.39 Euros for just 3 songs and buy the rest, the tracks included are Meet Me Halfway (with all the remixes in the song) and I Gotta Feeling (same thing with remixes) and the third is a sample from DJ Tiesto - Escape Me.

Hey guys, we now have a confirmed, and of course official, release date for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep! It is scheduled to be released on January 9, 2010 for 6090 yen!

Also the world where the game begins is Land Of Departure (new world). Terra's, Aqua's and Ven's master has a KEYBLADE and his name is Erauqs. Dark Soldier's voice is by Sora's voice actor.... does that mean something??? And his name is Apprentice Vanitas. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days was released yesterday across North America for the Nintendo DS!

Yeah, yeah... I know.... I am a day behind with this, but I really couldn't make it yesterday..... so yeah I picked up my copy, and guys, it's AWEESSOOMEE this game is a "Must" game.

For those of you the United Kingdom or Europe, the game will be releasing in these territories starting on October 9th.

And Of course the illegal way, I am not sure if this works with an emulator, the Japanese version worked great with No$gba 2.6 (patched version), But I don't know about the US. It's a torrent file so make sure that you have a torrent downloader Application (you can try Bitorrent, uTorrent, Xtorrent, Transmission) the torrent gets great download speed, so HERE is the torrent and it works 100% on R4 DS.

OK I now have a computer...... crashing all the time..... whatever. Soooo yeah it's been a while since posted
something about KH meaning that I am a little bit behind with the news. Two days left for the North American release of KH
358/2 Days, and a week after that meaning 9th of October (October 8th is the release of Spore Hero and Hero Arena, just a reminder) the European release will follow. HERE you can see a review of the game by GameTrailers.com.

Now let's skip to Birth By Sleep, and the news here are A W E S O M E. First of all the release date for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is January 2010. Then a new world was confirmed, Neverland there won't be an actual event in Neverland like previous KH games, it said that there will be something like a treasure hunt.

Also a multiplayer mode! It’s confirmed the “Arena” exists where up to 3 people can enjoy cooperation play. Will there be playing using the communication functions in other ways? The world “Mirage Arena” is used for the communication playexclusively. Players who want to participate in the cooperative play wait in this world. Here there is a computer terminal from which player’s can “Access” and engage in battles in cooperative play. Perhaps the final difficult boss will also appear? By the way, the main three appear here in their armor. Also, the exclusive command “Friend Cure” is confirmed. There’s another command that looks like “Cyclone”

Yeah I know, totally random, but since there is nothing socking about KH: BBS yet, and since I finally got my iPhone 3G [S] it's time to expand to iPhone games too.
Sooo not having enough free time lately, yesterday night I accidentally crashed onto this game on YouTube, well from the trailer and the story I am pretty sure it's gonna be a hit.

So now that the action-RPG Zenonia was (and remains) a smash hit for Korean mobile maker Gamevil. Considering its success, you can hardly blame Gamevil for going back to its catalog for its next iPhone game. Hybrid: Eternal Whisper is another action-RPG adventure, but instead of a classic top-down 16-bit RPG vibe, Hybrid is instead a side-scrolling RPG-fighter that focuses heavily on style. Gamevil's USA president Kyu Lee likened the emphasis on cool moves to the Capcom series Devil May Cry. And after watching him perform some massive attacks on huge boss monsters by swiping his finger around the screen, I could see exactly why he draws the comparison. Even in its early stage, Hybrid just looked... cool.

There are 150 stages in Hybrid. That's a lot of content. You start out as a lowly warrior, but over time you gain skills to use in battle, much like the hero of Zenonia. Each stage is a fighting scene with multiple enemies. You can track incoming monsters via a minimap along the top of the screen. Not long into the game, though, you start encounter giant bosses that require leveled-up skills to bring down. Here is the trailer:

Finally, 9 days left for the Japanese release of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days so I'd better get my R4 fast.

Well then the news are that the Official Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Website has some new gameplay videos in the "System" section of the site showing how most of the Organization XIII members fight, and there are also Limit moves. Also how the Start menu is and how to use your new weapons and items you got after defeating Heartless or after clearing Missions. There is also an update on the "Characters" section of the site, showing the details for more characters.

Well yeah sorry for not posting about KH lately, but there weren't any news at all... so yesterday I found something awesome, wanna find out what that is? Check back tomorrow for the new post.

Soooo... I found this awesome video on YouTube saying "To celebrate the launch of Spore Galactic Adventures, we teamed up with the writers of Robot Chicken to concoct some truly twisted missions. See what happens behind closed doors when we put the sickest minds in Hollywood and the sickest game in the universe in the same room. Then play their whacked out missions when Spore Galactic Adventures launches on June 23rd!"
And in the end a "See what happens on May 19th" popped up, so I went back to the new Spore WTF website and new videos were up showing all of them working on their first mission and what I saw was... fantastic and incredibly hilarious, you can also see it here:

Yeah, this is kinda old, and sorry for not informing you, but Spore Galactic Adventures have been delayed for June 23, 2009. Also from what we see for now, galactic Adventures will be the real Big Bang, after the let down of Spore.

A few days ago Square Enix updated the Offical Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days site with new game play videos under the "System" tab. The World Ends With You... 2 ???

Yeah that's what I read in an interview of the director of the game, Tetsuya Kando in a The World Ends With You post-release interview by IGN (published on January 22nd, 2009), they talk to him who first states that the game was not initially created with a sequel in mind when asked about the possibility of The World Ends With You 2.

IGN: How has the situation with this license changed since the game’s initial pitch? Was it originally designed as a one-time game, or was there always a possibility for sequels? Now that the game has sold surprisingly well, may we see another game in the series?

Kando: The game’s concept has not seen any drastic changes since its inception, but it was the first time our team decided to develop for the Nintendo DS hardware, so figuring out how to bring out the best in this hardware was a constant process of trial and error. Our objective was first to create a complete product, so we never really had a sequel in mind during development.

However when asked again later on about the possibility of The World Ends With You 2, Kando seems much more open to it and in fact, sounds as if a sequel will definitely happen.

IGN: Many fans of the game have now put in plenty of time with the game, and we’ve of course said our piece on it with our awards. Is it time to start thinking about a sequel? Can fans expect one, or is that something that’s still being worked out internally?

Kando: We’re very thankful that this title has been received so well, and as we see that there is demand from both Japanese and American fans, we would definitely like to consider the possibility of a sequel. Since it is not possible to get right into development at this moment, please give us a little more time.

At the end, he once again states that he would love to do a sequel if presented the opportunity.

IGN: Obviously you can’t share everything with us, but what could the future hold for The World Ends With You? Obviously we’d love a sequel, but the soundtrack, pre-release comic . . . there’s a lot to work with here. Perhaps an anime or manga series?

Kando: Personally, I think we’ve created a game that has a lot of potential to expand, so if given the opportunity it would be wonderful to take on the challenge. It would be such a waste if this was the end for The World Ends With You!
So that's all he said, and most likely we can wait for another sequel. That's just what he said, or what IGN made a fake interview, but what can I say let's just wait and see.

Well yeah these are kinda 4 days late, but there weren't many pictures so I was waiting for a bit more. Anyway so yeah there are some new scans, which you can see HERE, and they feature some new cutscene pictures, most have been shown in Jump's February issue.

Also In this issue (magazine scan featured right), we are given our first insight to Demyx's role in the game, alongside Roxas exploring and training in the familiar world of Olympus Coliseum. In addition, there is a brief glimpse of the character settings panel, where you set a players attributes, such as accessories, weapons and so forth.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days - Appearing at World Hobby Fair '09

Although the drought of major Kingdom Hearts news continues, Square Enix announced today that they will be attending this years World Hobby Fair '09 tour.

Present at the event will be both a Demo & Trailer of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS.

In anticipation of the event, Square Enix have launched a Mini-Site detailing all the information you need to know, if you plan on attending any of the stops.

The event will start on January 18th at the Kyosera Dome in Osaka, Japan. It will then move the following week to the Makuhari Messi convention center in Tokyo (January 24/25th), with the Nagoya Dome in Nagoya after (February 1st), and lastly the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome in Fukuoka on February 8th.
So yeah we can all expect anything!!!

Also, Quinton Flynn has cryptically confirmed that he will be returning to voice Axel in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS on his official forum.

Unfortunately he couldn't say much about the role but check his official forum and here for any future updates he may be able to reveal.

Right, let's begin. First the bad news, which I kinda expected, are that KH 358/2 Days has been delayed for Spring. Yeah, that sucks, but anyway if we wanna be satisfied we must be patient, too! The good news are... hmmm... that's odd, there are no good news!!!............ Well it's about time. I've been thinking of this quite much lately, and here it is! Random news of anything that happened lately about movies, other games, news and anything like that will be posted here in the next few days!

1ST:
Alexandros Grigoropoulos, 15-Greek year old boy was killed by policemen.
The last few days there is crisis all over our country, the core is... Athens of course! Well there was some vandalism 2 days ago and a boy named Alexandros Grigoropoulos was going to his friend's birthday party, policemen were patrolling the area and they located the vandalism in a shop they were searching around the area and they saw the boy with his friends, policemen and the boy begun arguing for a short time, by the time the boy was leaving two policemen shot him and killed him. Think of it he was 15 years old and he never hurt anyone. That murder brought much more anger and hatred to everyone. And 'till now, two days later, Athens is arena... police vs citizens! Here is the video when the boy was killed:

The Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days official Japanese website has been updated. Some short cutscenes from the game have been uploaded to the site, and can be viewed in the section "Events". There are currently 3 events, each taking place at a particular point in time. Axel bringing Roxas to an Organization meeting, Axel and Roxas hanging out on the clock tower, and Mickey meeting a certain black cloaked man. In the "Characters" section, a profile for Xion has been added.

What probably comes as a surprise to nobody, Square Enix confirmed earlier today that the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days will be released across North America.

Announced via a press release that's celebrates yesterday's release of Kingdom Hearts: RE:Chain of Memories, the upcoming Nintendo DS title, which can be regarded as a side-story to the main franchise, will be hitting Japan's shores next February.
And here are the Release Dates:
- Japan // February 2009
- North America // April - July 2009
- Europe // TBD (Fall 2009?)

Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories has now been finally released across North America!

If you're not already aware, KH: RE:CoM is a 3D Remake (for Playstation 2) of the original Chain of Memories for the Game Boy Advance. It was released in Japan as part of KH2: Final Mix+ early last year.

Tomb Raider Underworld released!!!

Yeah I know too many releases but anyway I would do that earlier but I was waiting for the European release too. So I'll give you the PC demo too!

So, Eidos Interactive Ltd., creator of some of the world's leading videogame properties, announces that Tomb Raider: Underworld has been released across Europe and North America. Kingdom Hearts Coded Finally released in japan!

Kingdom Hearts: Coded has released yesterday in Japan. They were preinstalled on the Docomo PRIME Series "P-01A" mobile phone (don't ask I don't know what it is either).

Also, an artwork of Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi, Riku, and Mickey have been posted as well.

So the first level is Olympus Coliseum and here is the summit:
OLYMPUS COLISEUM

Sora meets with Hercules and Phil. At first there is no one around, but then after wandering a bit, Phil appears. However he shows up in a hurried tone saying, “Help me out!” As you’d expect, there are Heartless needing to be dealt with.

After the battle in the event scene Hercules comes out, then at that time Sora says something about bringing a "certain thing." (It has to do with the previous Kingdom Hearts.) I try looking for it, thinking "Is it that? It's not that! Was it dropped?!" :D

Well, then after that Phil seems to have discovered it... Seems to be that the flavor is "salty, but sweet." It's other meaning makes me smile. :D ...Then at once Hercules disappeared! In every sense! :D

Spore News!!!

It's already been 2 months since the release of Spore and many things happened. Sporepedia has almost 45.000.000 Creatures free for download. To download creatures from there you simply find the creature you want and then right-click on the image and go "save to desktop" then drag you .png file in My Documents-->My Spore Creations and put it in the folder it must go if it's a creature in creatures folder if not in other one.
In another post I'll give you link to download some of my creations (Fastback's included).

So there were a lot of updates like an expansion for the Creature Creator called Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack. You can't download this for free anywhere only buying from (PC) HERE (Mac) HERE careful it requires Creature Creator (Trial).

And the worst update of all is the Spore patches yeah as you think of it it's awesome but patches brought countless problems (invisible creatures, crashes and online content lacking) so with that patch you would be able to make your Spore 1.00 version game to Spore 1.01 and there also is and a second patch making your Spore to 1.02 so I wouldn't suggest you downloading it.
If you still do want you can download it and see the new features HERE for Mac users to get the patches simply start your game while connected to the internet.

Lost season 5!!!

Yeah season 5 is on it's way. And the trailer is on too. In the end of Season 4, 6 of the people that were crashed on the island returned home and many others stayed back. And on the very end the whole island disappeared in front of their eyes. Then Jack begs Ben to go back and Ben say that if he really wants to go back they must all return back. But anyway here is the trailer:

Yeah that's it. it's the trailer of the Square Enix Private party which was in August. So here is the trailer, the trailer was ripped from the official KH 358/2 Days website which you can find HERE and there is a new section in the site called "movies" and that's where you can see the trailer.

The video in question starts off with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and you get to see a lot of Xion! We then get to see the full Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep trailer, which includes our first ever look at Aqua in battle, as well as the Enchanted Dominion covered in thorns (always one of my favourite aspects of Sleeping Beauty).

- The release date has been delayed. February 2009
- The 14th member's face is revealed clearly.
- Xion is also revealed a lot during the trailer.
- It is revealed that she is a nobody like Roxas with a "special birth."

KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP
- The gameplay for Aqua is finally shown!
- Aqua apparently floats and uses the keyblade without touching it. It compares with Sora's forms.
- Scenes of Aqua were shown in Cinderella's and Snow White's world.

KINGDOM HEARTS: CODED
- The trailer was shown. "The world is damaged."

- Axel: "You've memorized the number of days?"
- Roxas: "I want to remember the day that I was born."

- A seashell is in the shore of Destiny Islands.
- Roxas is seen picks up the seashell.

Twilight Town: Forest
- Riku in the form of Ansem. He meets with King Mickey.
- Riku is blindfolded.

- Saix is talking to Axel.

DAY 4

The Tokyo Game Show ended today or I should say last night in Japan. I've learned that Xion looks and talks like Kairi. Apparently she has darker skin and hair color. Her eyes are also bright blue. Her full face structure was shown at the event. So, hopefully we'll see something in the next few days.

I've also learned that Aqua is an extremely important character. Not much was shown of her, but wI did find out in many sites that she possibly has some sort of form that resembles Sora's. A trailer was also shown this time for Coded. The trailer starts out with a suspicious quote "The world is damaged." King Mickey finally speaks the truth. It's up to them to fix the wounds of the worlds.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is set for a 2009 release. It's original date was set for summer 2008. It was later moved to winter 2008. Now, it's been confirmed to have a February 2009 release. (Square, do you promise this is the last delay?)

Xion supposedly has a close friend. She is a nobody like Roxas with a "special birth." A scene from TGS was shown where she had a conversation with Riku again, but at Destiny Islands. Saix is making Axel chose between destroying Roxas and keeping his "foolish friendship". Also Kingdom Hearts: Mobile is coming out in Japan this autumn 2008.

Now that I quickly reviewed some information at the event, make sure you check out the new stuff below that I haven't already mentioned.

KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP
- Ven's techniques: heal, rush and final hit.
- Terra's techniques: heal, rush, fire blitz and Frieze.
- Ven Helping Cinderella With Her Dress: white ribbon, lace, and a cloth are the materials that need to be found. This is when you need to find the items and defeat Lucifer the cat.

KINGDOM HEARTS: 358/2 DAYS
- Roxas, Axel and Xion are seen together on Destiny Islands. This scene is said to resemble past scenes between Sora, Kairi and Riku. (Oh boy, I know what you guys are thinking.)

- Xigbar has been added to the single player mode on the demo.
- The demo has "Dual Blade" as one of the bosses in 358/2 Days.
- Halloween Town was one of the worlds that was playable at TGS.

Hey guys, the official Kingdom Hearts coded (and Kingdom Hearts Mobile too website went live, and covers some basic information on Story, Characters (currently only covering Sora),information on the compatible handset for the game, and finally a Download section with a wallpaper. The story section contains a handful of small screenshots, and there's a nice high quality (if slightly small) CG render of Sora. The menu promises that there are still two more sections to be revealed, presumably one will cover the game's System, and we can all probably speculate on what deserves to take the final position.
