Hey everyone, Neku's cameo appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance might be the start of something big!
In a recent Famitsu interview with the creative director Tetsuya Nomura he hinted that there could be more to come from The World Ends With You. He said that his appearance in the game should be taken of notice of something to come and added that something is being worked upon.
Though he did not confirm anything, it's pretty loud and clear, The World Ends With You 2 might be on the way!!!!

I certainly hope so! That game was perhaps one of the funnest I've ever played, so a sequel would be AWESOME! Especially considering how the hardware of the 3DS would really benefit the game in many ways.
